Youth in Motion

Keeping teenagers in sport through peer leadership, flexible multisport offers and school–club cooperation in eight European regions.

About the project

Youth in Motion tackles the drop-out of adolescents from organised sport. Working with schools and multisport clubs, the consortium pilots a flexible participation model that lets young people move between disciplines within one club, supported by trained peer leaders aged 16–22.

Results & deliverables

  • Peer-leader training curriculum in four languages
  • 1,800 young participants in pilot activities
  • Policy brief on adolescent drop-out submitted to the EU Sport Forum
